At Luxmi Estates, we believe good tea depends on its source; the terroir, and the people that make it. At our estates 50% of the workforce are women, whose hands pluck the perfect leaves, masterfully sort & roll them, before they unfurl in cups across the world.
Finely twisted, emerald coloured whole leaf Assam green tea from our sprawling and renowned Kenduguri Tea Estate.
Kenduguri is synonymous with green tea, so much so that even the produce from other estates is referred to by the locals in Punjab as Kenduguri. The estate owes its cult status to the father-son duo Raja Singh & Kalyan Singh who under the patronage of the British governor in the province helped cement the popularity of Assam green tea. It is still widely loved by connoisseurs in the region.
