Auspicious and sacred and celebrated for it’s healing, immunity boosting qualities, this root has been used ceremonially and in ayurvedic healing practices for over 4000 years. This vibrant orange root grounds this cup of tea in the same earthy sanctimony that it once dyed Buddhist robes and children's festive garb in its native land. Crafting a good jasmine tea can only be done by an artisan who knows how to pay homage to its delicate nature. These delicate white jasmine buds are typically picked in heady and hot conditions as the bud is tightly closed to protect itself from the Sepon sun. Then, this night blooming variety of jasmine bud bursts open in the safety of coolness to release its sweet and subtle apple blossom aromas.
